We are in 2025 - 2026 and our activities are in full swing, by a team headed by Dr. Atul Kulshrestha.

The year started with follow-up of decisions taken during AGMs at Kolkata in 2022 & Mangalore during GSICON 2023.

Version five of the online certificate course was launched & conducted by Dr. Sajesh Asokan, immediate past president of GSI.

The Mid-Term conference was organized by Dr. P.C. Dash at Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

The guidelines for selection of fellows were made by the coordinator Dr. Vivek Handa, Past President GSI & approved by the Executive Committee. The announcement was done on E-Mail as well as by IJGC & many people applied out of which 7 people were selected who were conferred upon fellowship of GSI at a special convocation ceremony during the 38th Annual Conference of GSI - GSICON 2025, at Agra...

The 5 orations which were approved by AGM, to be awarded during the Annual conference of GSI every year, are as below: -

Dr. B. C. Bansal & Smt. Uma Bansal Oration

Dr. P. S. Shankar & Smt. Ambika Shankar Oration

Wing Commander Surendra Kumar Jain Memorial Oration

Dr. O. P. Sharma & Smt. Shanti Sharma Oration

Dr. V.K. Arora & Dr. Raksha Arora Oration

Dr. P. S. Shankar & Smt. Ambika Shankar Oration was decided to be awarded to the president every year, Dr. B. C. Bansal & Smt. Uma Bansal Oration to be allotted by Dr. B.C. Bansal. The award of other three Orations would be decided by a duly constituted Committee. The guidelines made by the committee were approved by the executive committee which was announced by e-mail as well as by IJGC.

The annual conference for 2025 GSICON 2025 was organized by Dr. Atul Kulshrestha at IHotel Clarks Shiraz, Agra on 12-14 December 2025. The Annual conference for 2026 will be organized by Dr. Chinmoy Maity, President Elect at Biswa bangla Convention Centre from 18-20 December, 2026.

Members are requested to actively participate in GSICON 2026, contribute articles in IJGC, involve GSI in their activities & send the activity reports for IJGC.
